Verizon is one of the most powerful communication brands in the U.S.
I contributed to developing a visual identity and systematic approach for the country’s largest wireless communications provider. In 2020 and 2021, R/GA New York collaborated with Pentagram studio to refine and evolve Verizon’s brand.
Our team explored multiple design directions to ensure Verizon felt dynamic, powerful, and deeply connected to its audience. We introduced greater flexibility into the typography system, expanding its weight range to enhance versatility.
Additionally, we pioneered Verizon’s first systematic pattern system, inspired by the distinctive V angles—an approach that continues to shape the brand’s visual language today.
